THE BELLS OF THE DOWNTOWN PROTESTANT GREAT CHURCH

The Large Bell:

The bell weighs 1301 kilograms, stretches 132 centimetres in diameter at its lower end, pitched D1. 

It was cast by bellfounder Lajos Gombos of Őrbottyán in 1988.

The Medium Bell:

The bell weighs 728 kilograms, stretches 107 centimetres at its lower end, pitched F1. 

It was cast by bellfounder Lajos Gombos of Őrbottyán in 1988.

The Small Bell:

The bell weighs 423 kilograms, stretches 92 centimetres at its lower end, pitched G sharp1. 

The bell was cast in Lajos Gombos’s foundry in Őrbottyán in 1989.

The Smallest Bell:

The bell weighs 302 kilograms, stretches 79 centimetres at its lower end, pitched B1.

It was cast in Őrbottyán in Lajos Gombos’s bell foundry in 1989.
