THE BELLS OF THE PROTESTANT CHURCH OF MEZŐTÚR “ÚJVÁROS”

The Large Bell:

The bell weighs 960 kilograms and stretches 121 in diameter at its lower end.

It was cast by János Thury and Ferenc Thury in Budapest in 1900.

It is known to be the oldest bell in Mezőtúr.

The Medium Bell:

The bell weighs 354 kilograms and stretches 85 in diameter at its lower end.

It was cast by golden wreath bellfouder László Szlezák in Budapest in 1924.

The Small Bell:

The bell weighs 120 kilograms and stretches 60 in diameter at its lower end.

The cast originates from 1926 worked by László Szlezák in Budapest.
